Our Quarter beef price is $5.25 a lb. at hanging weight. Plus $.95 a lb. for butcher cost. A half beefs approximate hanging weight is 170 lbs.
100% grass-fed beef quarters are a bulk meat and cost saving option that offers a custom cut selection of steaks, roast, ground-beef and many other options.A beef half typically includes a selection of cuts from the front and hind portions of the animal. Our beef are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.Also no chemicals, mrna, vaccines, antibiotics or any hormones are injected or given to the beef.
How many different cuts do I get ?
Steaks, Any kind of steak you can think of!
Roast, Any roast you want!
Ground beef, you will get regardless of what you order!.
You also have the option of doing everything in ground beef, or make bologna, grillers, beef jerky and lot's of other options.
How much space do I need in my freezer?
A rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped meat. Allow slightly more space when the meat is packaged in odd shapes. A half beef will be approximate 150 pounds cut & wrapped meat and bones, but will vary depending on size of actual animal and if you choose to take the bones, the percentage of fat you keep in the ground meat, if you choose to save the fat, etc.
Steps for purchasing the beef.
Step # 1, purchase the down payment to reserve your order, (you will also get a email after you purchased the down payment with further instructions and details. In the email there will also be a butcher cut list chart ).
Step # 2,Contact Rocky Ridge Meats with your cut-list preference ( 717-687-6328)
Step # 3, Rocky Ridge Meats will contact you when your meat order is ready for pickup at their location,( Approximately 2 weeks after the butcher date).
The butchering cost will be paid directly to Rocky Ridge Meats. And we will send you a invoice with the beef balance that will be due to us at Nature Ridge Farm.
